I received a funny email this week from one of my friends (a math teacher.) The email talked about how ridiculous the English language is. It is often that we have a wordin English that has a different pronunciation or an entirely different menaning even though it sounds exactly the same. Consider this sentence: I read about the book I read last year and it makes my face red. I know, right?!?! Tell me about a word that your have read before that you didn't understand and where you read it :)

Students often say they don't like to read because there are no books written about topics that they like. I wish someone would write a book about..... because
