As the summer vacation season really gets into full swing, I have started to compile quite a list of must read books before the next school year. I wonder what my students are reading and know that they understand how important it is to keep those reading muscles strong!!

I've been reading this book called keep me in your heart but it has three novels in it and the novel I'm reading is called "Saving Jessica." "Saving Jessica" is about this girl Jessica who is in the hospital with kidney failure and her underclassmen boyfriend Jeremy will not leave her side. Jessica is going through dialysis treatments for her kidneys but she is thinking about getting a transplant but she would be one of the last people to get a transplant because a lot of other people are waiting for kidney loners. Jeremy's brother died in a car accident only a few years before and thats all I'm going to tell you because it's really good you should read it it's by Lurlene McDaniel.

She always writes some very sad books; I used to like to read them when I was on school too! It reminded me that even though I was going through some tough times, they were never as bad as the characters in her book.

I never read over the summer because I don't have time for reading because its summer time and I want to have fun. My birthday is in the summer and I want to party and hang out with my friends. This summer I will start reading because I will be having the ACT and I need to read as much as possible and study.
