What other languages are you familiar with? Do you speak another language or do others in your family? Other countries requires their students to learn at least two languages in all grades. Their children are all bilingual with their secondary language usually being English. What are your opinions about learning another language? Do you think that it would be difficult to learn a language if you cannot read it, but only hear it and have quick conversations? What is your strength with English, is it writing, reading or speaking? Do you think that might be the same for other languages and why?

I think it is not fair that you have to learn another language. It should be optional. I'm fine with my English. Sure it would be cool to learn another language but i don't have time.

They say that when you learn another language it helps you to build on your first language.

I am familiar with Spanish only because I am in Spanish class now. My sisters also have take Spanish when they were in high school. I think it should be optional to take more than one language because you never know who you might have to work with in life. Learning a new language can be difficult because some of the way they pronounce the words can be hard at time for someone that isn't familiar with it. My strength with speaking English is that I been speaking it all my life. I don't think it would be the same way with other languages.
